On Wednesday, February 26th as part of Brooklyn Historical Society’s celebrated “Brooklyn on Brooklyn” series, Pat Kiernan will appear in conversation with Gothamist publisher Jake Dobkin to talk – you guessed it – all things Brooklyn!

In what is sure to be an exciting & insightful evening, two of NYC’s most influential and beloved cultural commentators will engage in a freewheeling conversation about the Borough of Kings, as well as respond to audience questions.

In addition to being a native Brooklynite, Jake Dobkin is the author of Gothamist’s wildly popular “Ask a Native New Yorker” series, regularly advising readers on everything from whether to rent or buy, to if a New York accent makes people sound stupid.

Pat Kiernan – longtime NY1 morning news anchor, new WABC radio host, founder of PatsPapers.com and NYC’s best trivia host for corporate events, moved to Brooklyn a couple of years ago after 15 years as a Manhattan resident – prompting then-borough president Marty Markowitz to declare “Pat Kiernan Day” in Brooklyn:

This is sure to be a memorable night, full of great banter between two of Brooklyn’s favorite media personalities. Who knows – maybe there will even be some surprises in store, like the last time Pat Kiernan & Gothamist got together for an event?
