We are so excited to announce that TrivWorks has partnered with Every Day with Rachael Ray magazine to create the ultimate trivia night party kit – just for you!
Featured on the cover of the April 2013 print issue and designed to replicate the themed large-scale public trivia nights and customized corporate events TrivWorks is known for, we have come up with 100 fun food-themed trivia questions to select from, as well as answer sheets, name tags, suggested props/prizes and of course great recopies to go along with it – everything you need to throw your very own home-based trivia party, customized specifically for your friends & family!

It’s an exciting day today as CNBC announces a new primetime reality competition series, “Crowd Rules,” co-hosted by TrivWorks friend & “Special Host” Pat Kiernan!
Presented by Embassy Row and Executive produced by Michael Davies, “Crowd Rules” will feature Pat, co-host Kendra Scott and a special industry expert as they welcome 3 small businesses a week in front of a live studio audience of 97, to help them decide which contestant they shall vote for to win a $50,000 prize.
Pat, a veteran game show host, is no stranger to national television, having hosted VH1′s “The World Series of Pop Culture” for two seasons, and has a strong background in business as well, including being co-host of CNNfn’s “The Money Gang” alongside Ali Velshi. We are so thrilled to see him back in front of a national audience, and look forward to the first episode which airs on April 30th!

There’s a really great article in The Wall Street Journal today on the booming popularity of trivia events in New York City and across the country, and we are so honored and delighted to have been included!
Focusing primarily on the growth of pub quiz nights, the piece also mentions how a select number of companies have taken things a step further, to service a corporate audience: “TrivWorks customizes trivia events for corporate team-building, some featuring NY1′s Pat Kiernan…” Speaking about how our public trivia nights draw upwards of 300 people, Pat also provides a great quote in the article on what it is that keeps people coming back to a great trivia night: namely, hitting that perfect “sweet spot” with questions that are highly appropriate for the audience- not too easy, but not too hard (Pat also offers his own analysis of this piece via his Website PatsPapers.com).

We absolutely thrilled to share that Ophira Eisenberg will be joining us at Pat Kiernan’s “90s vs 00s” Pop Culture Trivia Challenge next Wednesday, March 20th at The Bell House!
Ophira is a standup comic, writer and host of NPR’s new weekly trivia, puzzle, and game show Ask Me Another (which is recorded live at The Bell House). She has appeared on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson,” Comedy Central, VH-1 and more. She is also a regular host with The Moth, and her debut comedic memoir, Screw Everyone: Sleeping My Way to Monogamy comes out April 2nd.
